Paul Devlin’s long career as a freelance video editor and independent producer has provided him the opportunity to work on many varied projects and post-production situations, from cutting high-end agency commercials to supporting live sports broadcasts.
Paul’s sports broadcasting experience includes work with most major networks on Super Bowls, World Cup Soccer, NCAA Basketball Tournaments, earning him five Emmys for CBS Sports’ Tour De France coverage and NBC Sports’ Olympic Games.
Paul’s feature-length, theatrically-released documentaries have generated a tremendous amount of press, won over a dozen international film festival awards (including top honors at Berlin and Hot Docs), earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination, an Individual Artist Grant from the New York State Council of the Arts (NYSCA). and screened for millions of viewers in over 120 countries.
Paul is on the board of directors of Nila, Inc., which designs and manufactures environmentally sustainable LED lighting for the motion picture, television and sports industries. He is also on the board of directors of Core Learning Exchange, an educational technology company that facilitates personalized, competency-based learning.
